Health and fitness for Busy Nurses

Health and fitness is very essential for everyone. every nurses have a dream to become fit, as we won't be able to care ourselves. because nurses life is is all hectic they only take care of patients, family or others. they have no society,no social link ups, and not having time to spend with their family.

Nurses have a big role in supporting the responsibilities of the hospital as well as the whole union of any team in which the nurses are.

It is very essential for the nurses to make their life healthy and fit to keep help others so that they take care of themselves too.

A busy nurses having a busy schedule though they could not be able to to make time for themselves to be fit or do exercise to be fit. 

As we all know physical exercise is very important for each and everyone. I will tell you in this post certain tips to follow them so that the nurses can make their life easy and fit. 

In the duty hours, Nurses are always on their feet. and have different shifts because that they wont be able to manage their life.

If the Nurse duty is on Morning shift: 6AM to 2 PM

 1. whatever the shifts,nurses get  tired off after completing duty. 
Nurses have to be smart always over their duities to stay fit. 

2. They should never skip their breakfast meals either they have to see the consequences. for making time for exercise to the morning shift nurses is very difficult.

3. I know it is very difficult to wake up early at 4 o'clock. But if you are a morning shift  nurse then you have to wake up early at 4 o'clock, have at least two glass of water which hydrates you as well as your body, freshenup yourself, do stretching, take your bath. make your breakfast and have it. 

4. Do not skip your breakfast before going to the hospital as you know the consequences of empty stomach before going in the hospital.

Have your breakfast smart:

1. If you are having your breakfast full of protein that's the great idea to make your body full of energy. for example if you are non veg try to you have pouched egg, boiled
 egg at least two or three if you are female, or if you are male have at least 4,5 egg daily.

2. If you are vegetarian you can have sprouts in the morning sprouts salsa different nuts with milk, protein biscuits etc.
Eat every bite slowly so that it will not hurt your GIT. Eating slowly is very good habit because it easily digest the food which you have taken and prevent from acid reflexes.

3. Always make your morning breakfast as a high protein breakfast.
 
4. Don't let yourself furious:  to go in the hospital if you are in hurry always be on time because if you are awake in 4 o'clock at the morning then you have alot of time to manage yourself and get ready for the hospital.

5.Work smartly:
if you have a lot of work in the hospital then divide your work with your colleagues and carry on, do not let yourself in the burden it may destroy your image.

6.  After coming to Home: Take a shower and relax yourself have your lunch or if you have already done your lunch then just enjoy your precious time with your family and take a rest or a sleep for at least 2 hours.
after waking up in the evening do some exercise go for the walk or running, skipping, cardio exercise.

7. To do your evening meal before 7 o'clock:  That will be very best method to make your GIT strong enough. Do not eat too much in the night that may cause trouble in your GIT and your whole body.

8. Always make yourself hydrated which will definitely  give good result to the body as well as your healthy mind.
9. Try to sleep early if your shift is morning.
In your meals do not have food for deep fry food.

  If The Nurse duty is Mid day shift: 2PM to 10PM

1. Whatever the shift is, the nurses should always wake up at 4 o'clock

 2. Do exercise in the morning, because you do not get time in the evening to to do exercise 

3. Have a bath, Eat nutritious breakfast.
do miscellaneous work and then take a sleep of 11am to 1 pm and get ready for the duty hour to go for the hospital in 2:00 p.m.

4. Never forget to take your tiffin box to the hospital eat healthy to stay fit.

 If your duty is Night shift: 10PM to 6AM

1. After completing your night shift when you come in the home about 7 a.m. Take your bath have your breakfast.

2. Go for the sleep till 1 to 2 p.m.  After waking up have your lunch and do your miscellaneous work aur even after that you may take your sleep or do some other work. then in the evening you must have your exercise freshen up yourself and have your evening food.

3. Rest of the time which are left can do your miscellaneous work or spend time with your family. 

Note : 

If every nurse will follow these rules, No nurse will complaint about having lack of time, health wellness and exercise in their life. Because by following these schedule you are getting all the three important things i.e. sleep, Health by doing exercise or taking nutritious food and family Time.
