Pre and Post Covid 19 Vaccination Precautions
Some of the things we need to know and understand about the scientifically prepared covid vaccine. Many of us are taking this on a lighter note but such misconceptions can lead to the negative impact of vaccines, so have a look at some of the precautions we need to keep in mind is for the pre and post covid vaccine period.
Dr Shashank Joshi, member of covid 19 task force, said both the vaccines being used in India, Bharat Biotechs covaxin and Serum Institute of India’s Covishield, a version of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, are safe — and minor side-effects are expected in some cases, not just for these particular vaccines, but any other vaccine as well.
Here are some of the things we need to know, and some precautions that we should take before and after getting the vaccine.
Who can not have the vaccination and need to consult a doctor :
1.People who are allergic to the certain medicines
2. Females who are pregnant or breastfeeding
3. The one who has tested positive for COVID-19
4. People with underlying medical conditions
5. Children and adolescents
Before vaccination
1. If the person is having some allergies to medication or drugs, it is important to consult a medical practitioner. A complete blood count (CBC), C-reactive protein (CRP), or Immunoglobulin-E (IgE) levels should be check.
2. An individual should take a proper diet before going for vaccination. An empty stomach makes you feel more weak and dizzy. One should try to be as relaxed as possible.
3. People with diabetes, blood pressure, and cancer patients need to keep these in check.
4. People who have received blood plasma or monoclonal antibodies as part of Covid-19 treatment.
After vaccination
1. Just after the vaccination, you will be under observation for half an hour to 1 hour.
2. Side effects like pain at the injection site, body ache, fever, weakness are common. There is nothing to be panic about. Some other side effects like chills and fatigue might also be expected, but these symptoms will be subsided within a few days.
Important to Note:
The reason for getting infected even after taking two doses of Corona vaccine is worth knowing *
A second dose is to be taken 28 days after the first dose of a corona vaccine.
After the first dose when the vaccine enters into the body, the vaccine starts making antibodies.
When antibodies are forming in our body, our immunity decreases much more than our normal immunity.
When we take another dose of vaccine after 28 days, our immunity decreases even more at that time.
Immediately after entering the body, the 2nd dose of the vaccine starts making antibody again.
When antibodies are forming in our body after 14 days of the second dose, antibodies are fully formed in our body, then our immunity starts increasing rapidly.
During this month and a half, due to low immunity, the possibility of coronavirus entering our body is very high.
This leads to corona infection.
1. It is very risky to go out of the house during this month and after vaccination under 14 days of vaccination
2. Even after taking two doses of the vaccine, you can still become a victim of Corona
3. After half a month 100 to 200 times in unity power is increased in our body after that you are safe
4. There is a need to be careful and safe from the first dose to one and a half months
5. So must wear a mask
6. Avoid moving out to social places
7. Take a bath with hot water
8. Take special care of children and the elderly this time
9. During this period corona can affect the whole family stay alert and safe for the family sake.
Therefore, basic precautionary measures must be followed even after vaccination. Social distancing in public places, Face masks, hand hygiene must not be evacuated just because a vaccine has been taken. Cough/sneeze decency also needs to be followed.
